Yojimbo/1961/用心棒

A ronin appears in an inn town where two bosses are at odds with each other. He offers to hire himself as a bouncer for Seibei, the boss of one side, and instantly cuts down a henchman of the enemy side, the Ushitora. However, when the ronin learns of Seibei’s plot, he declines the bouncer’s offer. Then, Ushitora’s younger brother returns with a short rifle.
